In this digital age, making online income is among the lowest hanging economic fruit out there.
While most people follow the status quo, working endlessly for a raise, a promotion, or a newer and higher paying job, those who’ve adapted to the new rules are supplementing, or even replacing, their income using a new optimal strategy.
It works something like this:
Package the solution to a extremely painful problem that you already now how to solve into a productized service
Carefully curate a personal brand on LinkedIn to build trust and differentiate yourself from everyone else who sounds like robots in their posts
Be ruthlessly consistent with posting LinkedIn content about the problem you are uniquely qualified to solve
Connect with a small percentage of the 1.3 billion people on LinkedIn who are willing to immediately pay for your solution to the problem
Solve their problems via remotely-administered high-ticket coaching, consulting, or advisory services
This simple strategy requires literally zero upfront capital, large overhead costs, investors, physical products, complex distribution networks, or inventory management.
Because your brain is the means of production, and your knowledge is the product.
With a few months of intense focus and concentrated effort, you can establish a new revenue stream for yourself independent of the 9-5 corporate structure, and you’ll do it for far less work than those who still play by the old economic rules.
With that said, I find it perplexing that very few people are leveraging this strategy.
Most of my corporate friends are still working 50-hour weeks in jobs they hate, slaving away for good performance reviews, and going through multiple rounds of interviews just to land a job that pays $25k more.
If they played it differently, they could easily be leveraging their LinkedIn personal brands to sell their expertise to willing buyers for $5k-$10k a pop ($50k-$200k of extra income in a year)…. All while doing a fraction of the work.
This is the way to enjoying a freer, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
It’s so ridiculously simple, that you have no excuse not to do it this way.
